At YHACS, we offer assistance to local civic and amenity societies by the way of information, support and advice. We also offer networking opportunities through our quarterly members’ meetings, usually held at different locations across the region and run in conjunction with the local civic society.
In addition, we occasionally run tailored training events and workshops for the benefit of our members.
All member civic societies and people who have taken out individual membership of YHACS receive our quarterly newsletter, Society Insight, by email. (Back copies are available to download from our Publications page.)
We also participate in the regional agenda on behalf of the civic society movement, speaking for the views of our member societies in their mission to represent their communities, and liaise with Civic Voice, the national body for the civic movement.
